Postdoctoral Research Scientist positions are available in the Department of Pharmacology at the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York City. Our laboratory is focused on studying prostate and bladder cancers using genetically-engineered mouse models, organoid models, and systems biology approaches.
Areas of investigation include:
- Understanding how basic mechanisms of cellular plasticity, differentiation, and specification are coopted in cancer
- Investigating mechanisms of disease progression and metastasis
- Pre-clinical investigations for prevention and treatment of cancer
Interested candidates should have a PhD and/or MD as well as relevant experience in molecular, cellular and/or systems biology and preferably have experience in the generation and/or analyses of genetically engineered mouse models.
